Suriya-starrer “Singam 3”, the third film in the popular “Singam” franchise, will be shot across four different countries. The regular shooting will commence from November.
“The film will be shot in India, Africa, Australia and Paris. As soon as Suriya completes shooting for Tamil thriller ’24’, he’s expected to take a short break and join the sets of ‘Singam 3’,” a source from the film’s unit told.
To be directed by Hari Gopalakrishnan, the film will feature Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.
“In India, the film will be shot in Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu and in few locations in Andhra. Key portions will be filmed in Australia, while the climax will be shot in Paris,” the source added.
The pre-production work is underway and the team is finalising the rest of the cast.
Looks like Karaikudi is the go-to destination for shooting in Tamil Nadu. Director Hari stationed his entire team at Karaikudi for the past few days for shooting some important sequences of his upcoming film Poojai starring Vishal and Shruti Haasan. Now,Venkat Prabhu has also chosen Karaikudi as the location to commence shooting for his upcoming film Masss starring Surya and Nayanthara in lead roles.
Yuvan Shankar Raja composes music for Masss. It also has Amy Jackson in a pivotal role. The film is touted to be horror comedy and different film in Surya’s career.
The latest buzz is that the producers have spent nearly ten crores for the introduction scene of Suriya in 7 Aum Arivu. Made with a whopping budget of Rs. 84 crores, this is the highest budget film in Suriya’s career till date. 7 Aum Arivu, which has Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, is likely to grace theatres on October 28, 2011 (Diwali weekend). The director is currently busy with the post production works and the music launch will take place in Chennai on September 22, 2011. The story is said to revolve around a time machine which is brought to India by a scientist. 7 Aum Arivu is a sci-fi thriller in which Suriya plays a triple role: a circus artist, a Buddhist monk and a scientist. Vietnamese stunt actor Johnny Tri Nguyen will play the baddie.
The technical team includes Harris Jayaraj (music), Ravi K. Chandran (cinematography) and Anthony Gonsalves (editing).
Grapevine has it that the audio launch of 7aam Arivu will take place on September 22nd and not on September 10th as announced earlier. It is said that the audio launch may take place either at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai or in Malaysia and that it will be a very grand affair.
Further, the audio launch event will be telecast live on Sun TV, says sources close to 7aam Arivu. The film is a magnum opus with Suriya and Shruti Haasan playing the lead roles and AR Murugadoss directing it. Udayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies is producing this film.
Suriya’s forthcoming sci-fi thriller 7am Arivu is being directed by AR Murugadoss. The film will be dubbed into Hindi and Telugu as Suriya and Murugadoss has well spread market in both the languages.
7am Arivu stars Suriya in a triple role as circus artist, Buddhist monk and a scientist while Shruti Haasan played the female lead. Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen played the antagonist in the film. Suriya trained for a six pack chiseled torso for a Kung Fu action sequence within 16 days as requested by cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran.
The story of 7am Arivu will revolve around a super machine, which is brought to India. The album, composed by Harris Jayaraj, consists of six songs including a Chinese track, sung by Chinese singer Hau.

The film enters post-production stage from now.
Udhayanidhi himself had conveyed the news through Twitter: “7 am Arivu shooting over! Thanks to Murugadoss sir, Suriya, Ravikchandran sir and the whole crew! ”

Last week there were reports that a song from the film was leaked, but it has been denied by the producer.
Surya and Shruti Haasan is all set to take off soon to China for two Song Sequences in their upcoming untitled movie. As per sources the entire unit of the film will fly down to China where the first schedule of the movie will begin.
This untitled film is being directed by AR Murugadoss, who has earlier made a super hit film Ghajini with Surya. The film’s title is expected to be announced soon.
