The Tamil film federation is in no mood to budge. All the film bodies are firm to show their strength of unity unforeseen before. As announced before, FEFSI has started taking action against the Bollywood gang which ridiculed FEFSI dictates and participated in IIFA in Sri Lanka.
As the first case Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kites’ was pulled out of the theatres and their anger is now brewing over ‘Raavan’ which has another defaulter Govinda playing an important role.
Angered Tamil activists are also planning a ban of RGV’s ‘Raktha Charithra’ which has Vivek Oberoi. The also stars Suriya but the activists are not ready to forgive Vivek Oberoi who openly criticised the decision of FEFSI.
Will ‘Raktha Charithra’ be saved at least for the sake of Suriya? As things stand now it is difficult to say.
Actor Surya made his appearance as a shy reserved boy, where he was hesitant to keep embrace the heroines’ shoulders. He was deliberately backwards in dancing and so was his kind of films he did for the first 15 projects.
But now the actor has gone ahead in places with 8 continuous blockbusters: Ghajini, Aaru, Sillunu Oru Kadhal, Vel, Vaaranam Aayiram, Ayan, Aadhavan and recently release Singam. There is no doubt about his upcoming films turning to be a greater hit getting him reached than the place he is present now.
It is because all his three upcoming films will be made directly in Hindi and Telugu. Ram Gopal Varma’s Raktha Charithram is getting released in two parts for Hindi and Telugu. A.R. Murugadoss’ 7 AUM ARIVU is also getting made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The third project is Businessman, which is produced by Ram Gopal Varma and is directed by Puri Jaganath.
So Surya is going to have more fans across India as Hindi and Telugu film industry is already looking out for his movies.
Actor Surya is busily shooting for the trilingual film ‘7 AUM Arivu’ with Shruthi Haasan in female lead and A.R, Murugadoss directing the film. The film’s shooting will be going on till the mid of 2010 and the film is getting released somewhere in January or February 2010.
But now itself, the fans of Surya have started to enquire about his other projects that will kick start after these pending ones. There is something we heard from the closer units that Surya may once again join hands with Gowtham Menon.
The other film may be done for Madras Talkies and about Manirathnam directing the film is not confirmed. Director Vasanth, who introduced Surya in Kollywood, is also looking out for a chance to direct him.
