Suriya is in news again with his Maatraan directed by K.V.Anand, the high budgeting movie ever in his career. The Ayan star is shaking legs with Kajal Agarwal, in director’s favourite place Wai, near Pune.
Maatraan team is exclusively shooting a romantic song in this prettiest place with Suriya and Kajal shaking legs. Wai is one of the most beautiful places in India that includes Mahabaleshwar, Dhom Lake, Krishna River and valley. Remember Wai was seen in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Sivaji directed by Shankar and Anand worked as cameraman for that film.
Kalpathi S Aghoram producing Maatraan is being a trustworthy film, as the makers are specially using performance capture technology for some of the action sequences. Harris Jayraj is composing music for this film, with duo expecting a hattrick after their combo in Suriya’s Ayan and Jeeva starrer KO.
There are a total number of four villains in Suriya’s forthcoming venture ‘Maatran’ and one among them, interestingly, is Suriya himself. The other three are Milind Soman, Daniel Balaji and Veera of ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ fame!
“If one would closely look at the three names, they could find a Gautham Vasudev Menon link. While Milind Soman is the baddie of ‘Pachaikili Muthucharam’, Daniel is that of ‘Vettaiyadu Vilayadu’, and Veera was part of ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’,” point out sources.
“This is because of Suriya’s close rapport with Gautham. Both are good friends and had worked together in ‘Kaakka Kaakka’ and ‘Varanam Aayiram’. Suriya, who was impressed with the performance of the three actors, wanted them to cross swords with him in Maatraan,” add sources.
Directed by K V Anand, the film which has Kajal Aggarwal opposite Suriya is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram of AGS Entertainment. Shooting is almost over and Anand is planning to release the movie during summer.
After the record-breaking Ayan, Suriya and director K.V. Anand are all set to team up again in Maatraan. The film will go on floors on July 22; for the first time Kajal Aggarwal will team up with Suriya in Maatraan. Suriya has just wrapped up Murugadoss’ 7am Arivu and was busy till yesterday with his younger brother Karthi’s wedding and reception.
According to close sources, Suriya will be seen playing a unique role of Siamese twins. Suriya will be seen in a double role where both the characters that he plays will be conjoined and will eat, sleep and do every other job together. Ace comedian Vivek and Prakashraj will also play prominent role in this film produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under AGS Entertainment banner. The technical team comprises of Harris Jayaraj (music), S. Sounder Rajan (camera) and Anthony (editing). The
