The music of director A.R. Murugadoss’ 7aam Arivu, which has Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, will be launched in Chennai on September 22, 2011. The director is currently busy with the post production works. The story is said to revolve around a time machine which is brought to India by a scientist (played by Shruti or Suriya according to conflicting versions). The film is also being dubbed in Hindi and Telugu.
7aam Arivu is a sci-fi thriller in which Suriya plays a double role: a circus artist and Buddhist monk. (There are reports that Suriya will sport the look of a Buddhist monk for only 20 minutes in the film.) Vietnamese stunt actor Johnny Tri Nguyen will play the baddie. Ravi K. Chandran handles the camera while Harris Jayaraj is the music director. According to sources, Suriya is also planning to perform the circus stunts he has learnt during 7aam Arivu live for his fans at the audio launch of the film, which is likely to take place in Chennai.
At a time when there is no clear indication when audios of Mankatha and Velayudham are being launched, Harris Jayaraj has thrown a googly.
Harris tweeted- “7am Arivu will be launched by end of this month”.
This has created more suspense and anxiety in the audio world. Please note Ajith’s Mankatha, Vijay’s Velayudham and Suriya’s 7am Arivu audio are being released by the market leader Sony Music.
Earlier there were reports that Mankatha audio will release on July 18 and Velayudham on July 21. But producers of both these films are silent about the launch date. Now with 7am Arivu joining the fray it will create chaos in the audio market.
An audio dealer said: “We can’t have three big ticket audios coming out from the same company within a span of a fortnight.
All three films Mankatha, Velayudham and 7am Arivu have superstars, and if their audios hit the market around the same time, it will eat into each others business and create unhealthy competition.”
After the record-breaking Ayan, Suriya and director K.V. Anand are all set to team up again in Maatraan. The film will go on floors on July 22; for the first time Kajal Aggarwal will team up with Suriya in Maatraan. Suriya has just wrapped up Murugadoss’ 7am Arivu and was busy till yesterday with his younger brother Karthi’s wedding and reception.
According to close sources, Suriya will be seen playing a unique role of Siamese twins. Suriya will be seen in a double role where both the characters that he plays will be conjoined and will eat, sleep and do every other job together. Ace comedian Vivek and Prakashraj will also play prominent role in this film produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under AGS Entertainment banner. The technical team comprises of Harris Jayaraj (music), S. Sounder Rajan (camera) and Anthony (editing). The
Suriya’s forthcoming sci-fi thriller 7am Arivu is being directed by AR Murugadoss. The film will be dubbed into Hindi and Telugu as Suriya and Murugadoss has well spread market in both the languages.
7am Arivu stars Suriya in a triple role as circus artist, Buddhist monk and a scientist while Shruti Haasan played the female lead. Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen played the antagonist in the film. Suriya trained for a six pack chiseled torso for a Kung Fu action sequence within 16 days as requested by cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran.
The story of 7am Arivu will revolve around a super machine, which is brought to India. The album, composed by Harris Jayaraj, consists of six songs including a Chinese track, sung by Chinese singer Hau.
The entire shoot o Suriya’s AR Murgadoss directed Udhayanidhi Stalin produced 7 am Arivu is over.
The film enters post-production stage from now.

Maatraan is an upcoming Tamil film directed by K. V. Anand starring Surya in the lead role. Scripted by writes Subha along with K. V. Anand, it will feature music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is currently in its pre-production stage and slated for release in 2012.
