Ezhaam Arivu: The seventh sense!

A.R. Murugadoss’s next project with Suriya and Shruti Haasan, Ezhaam Arivu (which means seventh sense), is said to be a never-seen-before story, loosely based on Leonardo Di Caprico’s yet-to-release Hollywood flick Inception.
Inception is a sci-fi action thriller which revolves around a skilled thief who is an expert in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable.

Ezhaam Arivu is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under his Red Giants Production banner. Ravi K. Chandran handles the camera and Harris Jayaraj will be the music director. Shruti Haasan will reportedly sing all her songs in the film. The latest buzz is that the film will have only three characters: Suriya, Shruti Haasan and a new villain from Hollywood.

Surya not dubbing his voice in Hindi?

South Indian superstar Surya, who is footing his first step in Bollywood through Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra, has said that he is getting better in Hindi language and now, he is able to read and write in Hindi. The actor is also playing a lead role in Puri Jagannath’s The Businessman, which is also said to be a multi-lingual film.

Earlier, in an interview Surya has confessed that his daughter Diya knows Hindi better than him. But now having an tutor has helped him to learn the language. The actor says that his only intention is to reach out to pan-Indian audience and he likes to face the new challenges. He even assures that he won’t leave Tamil for the sake of Hindi.

Well, the actor is not sure about dubbing his own voice for the film and he says that it all depends on Ram Gopal Varma. Recently, actor Vikram dubbed his voice in Hindi for Raavan.

Now, we have to wait and see whether the Surya will take up this challenge.

Raktha Charitra is a men’s film: Suriya

Suriya is one actor who likes to experiment with different get-ups on screen. Whether in Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Pithamagan or Vaaranam Aayiram, the actor has performed each role with ease and panache. Now he is busy wrapping RGV’s much-hyped Raktha Chaitra.
Raktha Charitra (RC) is a real-life story based on Paritala Ravi, a gangster in Andhra Pradesh in the early ’80s. “I play Maddelacheruvu Suri, an intense character, and a rival of Vivek Oberoi, who essays the role of Paritala Ravi. Suri is the only one in the story who’s still alive. I haven’t met him yet, but I’ve tried to model my body language based on the narrative given by director Ram Gopal Varma,” Suriya said to a leading English daily.

The film is a bilingual being made in Hindi and Telugu (also dubbed in Tamil as Rattha Charitram). “I didn’t take up Raktha Charitra with an intention to enter Bollywood. It’s just that when Ramu sir told me about the script, I was very impressed. The movie is so intense and has no heroine, songs or dances. So, Ramu sir calls it a men’s film. And for both Ramu sir and me, the film has come at an important stage in our careers; RGV has the experience to direct such an intense film after so many milestones and I can afford to experiment with such a character,” he added.

Raktha Charitra will also mark the Bollywood debut of Suriya. “It’s about widening my reach and taking up the challenge to appeal to a pan-Indian audience. It’s a completely different set-up and ambience. But I won’t leave Tamil cinema. Even when I accept a Hindi film, I’ll ensure it’s watchable for my fans in the south as well,” he clarified.

Singam Surya Role model

Cinema has no ends of inspiring the masses and none are elision. Especially, when it comes to mass hero like Surya, the universal people are so bounded to his styles. When few cop roles are said to be inspired from real life into reel, here is an example of a real cop inspired by Surya’s Singam.
Taking on the role of a police officer, Surya’s stylish moustache has made his fans very much compelling to have it. Dharmapuri SP Sudhakar is a film buff, who continuously keeps all the movies along with the normal audiences and whistle for the mass appeals. After watching the stylish look of Surya, he now carries the same style of moustache.
